元宵节前夕，该贸易公司出口一批货物，向海关申报为“马口铁盖”。但经宜昌海关开箱查验，确认企业申报的“马口铁盖”实际是“马口铁板”。“差之毫厘，谬之千里”，一字之差不仅导致货物品名及税号发生改变，出口退税率也发生了变化，经海关纠正后，该批货物的出口退税率由原来的5%提高到13%，企业直接获益16300多元。

马口铁罐装食品，除少数淡色水果及果汁罐头外，大都使用内部涂漆的空罐，以提高容器的耐蚀特性；由于金属的电化学作用，涂漆罐装罐头食品于贮存中会有少量的铁溶出，以二价铁形态存在于密封的罐头食品中，很容易被人体吸收，含量大约1 至10 ppm。以水果蔬菜产品而言，原料本身含铁量并不多，铁罐产品以每罐 350 ml的饮料罐，铁含量 5 ppm计算，每罐可提供1.75mg铁，约为人体每日摄取量18mg的十分之一。若上述果蔬汁饮料罐中含有丰富的维他命C ，则铁更容易被吸收，因而铁罐装食品饮料不失为一个铁的很好来源，对于铁罐食品提供营养的意义更为深远。
